Meet Suresan Ellary, BEST Vendor Recons Product Manager

Suresan Ellary, BEST Vendor Recons Product Manager and recently appointed company Director, is 35 years old and has been with BEST for 12 years. He began his professional career in the finance area, has a Bcom Accounting Degree and is SAP FI Certified.

​Suresan joined BEST as a BEST Consultant after a time at Investec Private Bank.​

​“I am the first point of contact for all BEST Vendor Recons product and technical related queries. I manage a team of 10 consultants that carry out implementations and provide client support where required. Together with the Programme and Project Managers, we manage all Vendor Recons project implementations, from start to finish. We ensure that the delivery of all project phases are of the highest quality and completed as per agreed timelines. I am also required to ensure that the Vendor Recon product is of exceptional high quality, with the BEST development team.”​

​Over the years Suresan has been part of BEST’s expansion to a number of SAP Certified Modules.  “BEST offers global automated solutions for Vendor and Balance Sheet reconciliations and clearing. We have over 130 implementations across the various BEST modules. We believe that from a reconciliation point of view, BEST has the most in-depth offering and our solutions are provided directly in SAP.” ​

​“BEST is a small company with a big offering. I am involved in all areas of Vendor Recons product development and implementations.”​

“Another benefit working for BEST has been the continuous learning, which has elevated my knowledge and expertise in SAP.” Suresan also enjoys the client engagement across industry and with clients around the world.” ​Travels with BEST have taken Suresan to Eswatini, England, India, France, Amsterdam, Namibia and Ireland.

“A major drawcard for BEST Vendor Recons is that the product and all the data remains in your SAP system. The vendor reconciliations are system generated and provide clients with real time, trustworthy reconciliations, showing the true financial status of their vendors.”

​Looking ahead, Suresan said: “BEST will continue to enhance the different BEST products and be certified on the latest and greatest versions of SAP.”​

Suresan said: “My family consists of my wife Mikisha and our two toy poms Chukies and Fudge. Family has always been a source of strength and a key to success in life.” ​

​In his personal time, he enjoys gaming and working on his golf swing. ​

​”My wife and I also enjoy spending time with family and having a ​lekker South African braai or potjie.” ​
